Thrust Ministries has begun the BUY THE MILE campaign to raise funds to move the drilling rig from Fort Collins, CO, USA to Kampala, Uganda, a distance of 8,750 miles.
Each mile will be counted and kept track of on the thermometer.
When a person buys a "mile" they will receive a certificate that declares that person, group, church, or other organization has purchased a "mile" on the way to providing hundreds of water wells for villages in Africa.
Each "mile" costs $100 no matter how many people contribute to it. Encourage your group, church, place of business, or other organization to buy 10 or more miles. All miles purchased will be noted and certificates sent to the appropriate people, or group.

Fundraising for Drilling Equipment!
In association with Thrust Ministries International, the partners of Pro Well and Pump Service, LLC are currently raising funds for a drilling operation in Uganda.
Thrust Ministries International is a 501 (c) (3) and the amount you donate will supply the start up funds for a self-sustaining benefactor charity.
Thrust Ministries has obtained agreements to drill wells for government agencies and international organizations and other charities and will use the proceeds to do charitable works such as: drilling free wells for small villages, or remote orphanages; supplying funds for an orphanage and a school. (the property for the orphanage has already been purchased)
Your purchase of ONE MILE for $100 donation today is given the strength of hundreds and thousands of dollars! Here's how:
Once we get the drilling rig to Uganda and we drill a well the proceeds, what would otherwise be profit to a commercial driller, can be used to turn one well into two water wells for the same price. Currently, charities raise anywhere from $5,000 to $12,000 to drill a water well in Africa. If a commercial driller drilled the well they would pocket the profit, about $3000 to $8000 per well. Because Thrust Ministries is a charity itself, it can take the same $3000 to $8000 and drill another well. That's two wells for the price of one.
Where else can you let so few dollars do so much good work?
EXPERIENCED PERSONNEL
The drillers at Pro Well and Pump Service, LLC have over 50 years of drilling experience at all depths from surface to 20,000 ft. They have drilled through the formations of seven different states and understand the complications that can arise and how to mitigate them. It is with this expertise that they have pledged to go to Uganda to ensure the project will be a success. This means that they will have to take turns running the business in Fort Collins while the other partner is in Uganda helping to make this vision a reality.
There is not just a shortage of clean, sanitary water in Africa, there is a shortage of expertise, equipment and the desire to make a difference. By starting a drilling operation Pro Well and Pump Service will help Thrust Ministries drill water wells, but it will also be there to train numerous individuals to carry on the tradition, learn skills to better their lives, and maybe go on to start their own drilling company.
The goal is to make more clean, sanitary water available to the people of Africa. This project is but a start in a greater, wider vision held by Michael Wangolo of Thrust Ministries.
